FISCO shared its mission to raise awareness about the welfare of South Asian seniors at the Vibha Boston 7th Annual Kite Flying Fundraiser, held on June 15, 2025, at the Lowell Heritage State Park Esplanade and Sampas Pavilion.
This vibrant event, themed as a celebration of hope and a brighter future for children, provided a meaningful platform for community organizations like FISCO to engage with attendees, highlight critical issues, and build lasting connections.
Through its presence, FISCO aimed to inform and inspire the public about the unique needs and challenges faced by South Asian seniors, and to encourage support for initiatives that promote their health, dignity, and well-being.
The event featured colorful kite flying, family-friendly activities, cultural performances, and opportunities for community outreach.
FISCO’s booth volunteers Nidhi and Ruchin welcomed visitors with informative materials, and conversations centered on fostering inclusive support systems for elders in the South Asian community.
