On October 5th, the Friends of Indian Senior Citizens Organization (FISCO) proudly celebrated its 15-year milestone in conjunction with the Annual Diwali Celebration at Crown plaza hotel in Woburn. The event was a joyful gathering attended by over 200 guests, marking a significant moment in FISCO’s ongoing commitment to the well-being and cultural enrichment of the Indian senior community.
The celebration featured a vibrant cultural program including a lively Raas and Garba dance session, with entertainment led by DJ Kamal Hans and a dynamic performances by Jasmin Shah’s Aangikam Dance Academy students.
President Mita Patel welcomed Dr. Ipshit Vahia as our Chief Guest. Dr. Vahia, a respected figure in geriatric psychiatry, shared insightful and practical tips on healthy aging and the importance of staying socially connected within the community.
As part of the evening’s festivities, FISCO recognized and honored the Chief Guest, Past Presidents, generous Sponsors volunteers and current board of directors for their unwavering support and contributions over the years.
